Laura & Jonathon | Wennington Hall, Lancaster
Wennington Hall is a striking wedding venue near Lancaster in Lancashire, known for its Gothic architecture, elegant interiors and sweeping landscaped grounds. The building has a grand, romantic presence without feeling overly formal, while the gardens and surrounding scenery create a lovely sense of space.
Jessica & Owen | Askham Hall, Penrith
Askham Hall combines centuries of history with the relaxed feel of a country house wedding. Its beautiful gardens, historic buildings and Bank Barn give so much visual variety throughout the day, from quiet moments around the grounds to the energy of the evening celebrations. Set in the Cumbrian countryside near Penrith, it has a warmth and character that makes every wedding there feel completely its own.
Prianca & Kyle | Wyresdale Park, Lancashire
Wyresdale Park is a laid-back countryside wedding venue near Scorton in Lancashire, surrounded by the scenery of the Trough of Bowland. Its restored barns, gardens and boating lake give the venue a wonderfully open, rural feel, with plenty of different settings for a celebration. Prianca & Kyle’s wedding really suited that relaxed setting, with the landscape and outdoor spaces playing a big part in the day.
Sophie & Sam | Hidden River Barn, Cumbria
Hidden River Barn is a secluded wedding venue near Carlisle in Cumbria, tucked away beside the River Lyne and framed by woodland. The barn’s huge windows bring the landscape right into the space, while the riverside setting gives the venue a calm, intimate feel. There’s a real sense of privacy here, with the river, trees and surrounding countryside making it feel wonderfully removed from everyday life.
Beth & Phil | Town Head Estate, Lake District
Town Head Estate sits on the shores of Windermere in the heart of the Lake District, with private grounds stretching down towards the water and views across the surrounding fells. The restored barn brings a contemporary feel to the setting, while the lake, open landscape and resident donkeys and alpacas give the venue plenty of personality. It’s a beautifully peaceful place, with everything centred around that incredible waterside location.
Kiera & Sam | Holesfoot, Penrith
Holesfoot is a beautifully secluded wedding venue in the Eden Valley, surrounded by 20 acres of gardens, woodland and open meadow. The manor house, barn, pond and outdoor spaces all sit within the same private estate, giving the venue a wonderfully unhurried feel. With so much greenery and space around it, Holesfoot feels intimate without ever feeling enclosed.
