Hey, I'm Dom, the filmmaker behind Lamb In A Bow Tie Films.
Storytelling has been part of my life for as long as I can remember. Growing up, I spent countless school holidays making short films with friends, always with a camera in my hand and a fascination for capturing moments and turning them into stories. What started as a childhood hobby quickly became a lifelong passion, leading me to study Film Production at university and pursue a career behind the lens.
After graduating, I founded my first video production company, BrainBlink Productions, creating films for businesses of all sizes, from local start-ups to international businesses.
A newly engaged couple had seen some of my commercial work and asked if I would film their wedding. I said yes, and in March 2016 I filmed my very first one.
From the moment I picked up the camera, I knew wedding filmmaking was something special. Being trusted to capture one of the most important days in a couple’s life is a privilege I never take for granted. Every wedding is different — filled with its own emotions, personalities, and unforgettable moments — and every story deserves to be told authentically.
Since that first wedding, I've had the pleasure of filming hundreds of celebrations across the UK. My approach is relaxed, natural, and unobtrusive, allowing couples to fully enjoy their day while I capture the genuine moments that make it uniquely theirs.
We chose Dom because we loved his style of film, and he didn’t disappoint. He created such amazing videos for us, capturing so many magical moments. He was never in the way, and you never felt conscious of his filming. He just made us feel so at ease the entire day. Would highly recommend him to anyone!
