Cumbria Wedding Videography

Fun, joy-filled wedding films across Cumbria and beyond.

Cumbria is packed with unbelievable places to celebrate—from historic manor houses in the Eden Valley and rustic countryside barns to breathtaking waterside estates.

I’m Dom, the filmmaker behind Lamb In A Bow Tie Films. Based right here in the county, I create creative, joy-filled wedding films that focus on what actually matters: the real energy, the big laughs, and all the unscripted moments that make your day completely yours.

Catrìona and Max's wedding at Askham Hall was full of personal touches that made the day uniquely theirs. The bridesmaids received handmade rings created during the hen do, while the table flowers were sourced from their family’s own garden. With a brilliant group of family and friends, the atmosphere was fantastic throughout the day. The evening brought another memorable moment as Max joined the band on drums, creating a brilliant finale to a wedding full of character.

Fairbanks Farm, Windermere

Sophie and Daniel's wedding at Hidden River Barn was full of unforgettable moments. Their dog Remy was the star of the day, joining in with the celebrations and stealing plenty of attention. A highlight was Daniel’s fellow soldiers creating a guard of honour with their swords during the confetti throw, while the champagne tower added another spectacular moment to the celebrations. A brilliant wedding to capture at this stunning Cumbrian venue.

Merewood, Windermere

Kiera and Sam’s wedding at Holesfoot was full of personality, from taking out the rowing boat in the rain to making the most of the beautiful surroundings. Their speeches told the story of how they met, including Kiera offering Sam her jacket on their first date, not realising he was shaking with nerves. The evening celebrations continued with a band they had discovered at Glastonbury, bringing a festival atmosphere to the dance floor and the perfect finish to their day.

Storrs Hall, Windermere

Jessica and Adam's wedding at Low Hall, The Lakes was filled with plenty of standout details. Their morning cards featured Lord of the Rings references, while Jessica’s dress, complete with stitched crescent moons, was a standout detail. The celebrations included the wedding party lifting Jessica into the air with their flat caps flying, followed by a touching father-daughter dance. A fantastic day at this fantastic venue.

Josie and Daniel’s wedding began with preparations at two places close to home, before a ceremony at St John’s Church, Flookburgh, and celebrations at Abbey House. Having already filmed their engagement shoot, it was great to capture the next chapter of their story. From the groomsmen trying to work out how to wear their braces to the genuine friendship within the bridal party, there were smiles throughout the day. The classic Mini Cooper and a hymn selection that took everyone back to school assemblies added to a wedding full of genuine joy.

Lancrigg, Grasmere

Ellen and Matthew's wedding at Roundthorn Country House took place at the end of November, with the venue's Christmas decorations providing the perfect backdrop throughout the day. One of the standout moments was their young son walking Ellen down the aisle, followed by one of the biggest confetti throws I've seen. The low autumn sun made for beautiful couple portraits before the dance floor came to life, with a saxophonist getting everyone involved and bringing plenty of energy to the dance floor.
